“Meeting people from around the world, challenges, earning points andcompeting is what keeps me coming back!” Each week we portray a ‘typical’ gamer. What motivates them? What games do they like. Today we had a brief conversation with Anne Ahnert, a 42 years Cosmetologist from Big Bend, Wisconsin.
It was the TV show ‘Deal or no Deal’ that brought met http://www.king.com. I’m a huge fan of the program, so when I heard that KING launched an online competition, I had to check it out. I got hooked on playing it almost immediately. After playing “Deal or No Deal,” I started looking into the other games and realized there was a whole new dimension in games to be played! When I signed up, they put me in a silly Nurse outfit, which didn’t really define me. Then, I learned I could create an Avatar to look just like me and it was history after that. I’m working to get my ranking up. I’m not a asual gamer and I’m not hardcore. No, not a hardcore gamer who plays all day.” “Meeting people from around the world, challenges, earning points and competing is what keeps me coming back!”
King has the most challenging online games I have ever come across. Bar none. I play every day for a couple of hours. I come home from work, play after work and don’t watch TV. I’m not a hardcore internet junky, I just enjoy all of the usual online activities, like reading email and shopping. The other 99% of the time I am on King. My favourite games? I’m a pushover for Star Wars Games and off course I still play Deal on no Deal.
